How's Life for you now?

Like how the wheel turns.

I've been on hiatus, no denying that as seen from the updates here on metallic-stains. Holidays swung into full pendulum only recently (due to supplementary papers and stuff) which probably explains this hiatus.

The break was good and it made me think about things which I normally don't ponder over. A whole bunch of stuff has been happening around me during this period of time.

I'm sure in everyone's childhood, there will be this particular cartoon that we will remember for years to come and recently, the thought surfaced once again.

Anyone heard of this cartoon film called "the Lion King"? For me, that was my influential childhood film. If you've watched it, you might recall the eminent theme emphasized in the movie; the circle of life.

Interestingly, I was somehow or another, brought up upon that theme. That life was a circle and what goes around comes around.

That in itself is true for life is indeed a circle and a process.

However, as I slowly probed in the authenticity of that claim, I begin to realize that life isn't really a perfect circle, as we thought it would be.

My interpretation of life.

This is life, well my interpretation that is.

In life, we have up and downs; sometimes when things are looking all good and rosy, we're on that high but when everything turns to shit (pardon me) and even people walking on the streets are seemingly out to make your life miserable, you're on that low.

Thus explaining the bumps and crevices on that "circle of life".

We have to acknowledge the fact that that there's always a low after that high or more optimistically, a high after the low.

Swirly wirly, what comes after, nobody knows.

This is life, we'll have no idea what's coming around that corner, that bend or after that turn, but we just step right up and face it regardless cause that is in itself, our will to move forward and to succeed.

So I ask, how's life for you now?

Whether if you're on that peak of the high, having the time of your life, or hitting that rock bottom, let us keep in mind that things will only get better in time to come.

On a side note, I wish to express my deepest appreciation to my family and friends for making the pass week such an enjoyable and memorable one, thank you everyone.

I guess I'll end here for now and hopefully with some food for thought. School will resume soon and quite honestly, never a better time.

Though I'm on semi hiatus here on metallic-stains, be sure to check out my other inputs (such as twitter, facebook and flickr) located to the right for timely updates and additions.

Be right back, soon.

"and we'll say, "Here comes the sun" after the storm."
